There is a great team of starters coming back to get all our races underway this season.

Talking yesterday with our chief starter Caroline Peachey, it would be great to get some more people interested in starting.

You can go along to one of LAVIC’s seminars or even just come down and learn on the job with the current team. Please get the word out amongst your clubs that new starters are really welcome and its a fun way to be
involved in aths.

There is a Collingwood one in September and a Coburg one in early October. The seminars are free of charge and run for 3 hours. You’ll see all the details on the website.

On our two registration days in September we will be running some trial races and that will also be a great opportunity to come down and try your hand at starting.
